 Dyson v Shark - Bobby
As per other thread, my Dyson V10 has stopped working.

If I can’t fix it, probably not worthwhile getting spare parts considering I bought it as a factory refurbished few years ago.

I see Costco has a deal on a V11.
But I know in the cordless world, it’s a war between Shark and Dyson.

Anyone got any experience of both and give and thoughts or input?

No its not. Its the lesser of two evils.

I have the Samsung Cordless Jet 75. The build quality makes both both the dyson & the shark look like airfix kits. Performance is top notch too

I’m out with limited internet at the mo so can’t find the video…

Search YouTube for Shark repair issues.

Apparently multiple size screws, custom heads and sections that are glued and clipped together make them very difficult to fix.

I don’t think there’s much to critisize in the build quality of the Shark. I have been impressed with the precision by which the parts fit together and the quality of the materials. There has been criticism of parts availability and difficulty in repairing but that’s pretty much the same for most things now . If it outlasts it’s 3 years guarantee that’s fine.

That’s not very green is it!? We should be trying to repair products,
Not throwing them away when they breakdown with just a simple fault.

No it’s not very green but unfortunately it’s the way it is. I’m betting on the vacuum cleaner outlasting me. Every chance I think.
