Ive lived all my adult life along the East of England. The sheer enormity of infrastructure created in such a short timescale never ceases to amaze me. Most of which has either been repurposed, ripped up, demolished. left to decay or a combination of all of these.
The magnitude of 1000 bomber raids in relatively agriculturally engineered aircraft mostly crewed by, in modern terms, youngsters. With a 50% attrition rate the term 'meat grinder' is not new.
The short film does capture the raw fear and emotion within the plane, along with the extended long term impact on the wider family.
The use of the young lady with the mobile phone was a clever piece of theater.
Wish people weren't peeling onions whilst i'm watching films.
We must never forget the sacrifice.

Nothing compared to the infrastructure created since then in our lifetime......best to start trying to make friends with other countries as with a few well aimed powerful drone attacks you might have to move to higher ground with your tent and primus stove.

Not watched it yet, will save it for the TV screen rather than a computer screen.
