There must be a BIG reason(s) to hurry back to the UK!.
It's a matter of weeks ago he was saying the UK was too dangerous.
This was despite visiting Columbia, Mexico, South Africa, Lesotho, Ukraine + some European citiies
Suggestions
1) Charles is still being treated for cancer, and like many, the outlook can be difficult to predict.
Maybe deemed better to come back when his dad is about. More difficult, I would suggest, if William is King.
2) Problem with his undeclared drug habit on Visa declaration (& ICE knocking on doors!)
3) Running out of the $megabucks handed out 5 +years ago by all their "Hollywood Friends"?

They probably have to be a bit more careful with the money, so that makes sense.
I am not bothered about kids running around in The Moon Under Water, it's The Moon On The Square (see note 1.) that I am concerned about.
Slightly more seriously - why are they coming back? Is it really for the kids education, or being a little cynical - does Harry feel he should get established here while Dad is still on the throne, because he will be a lot less welcome if he waits until his brother is king!

Many years ago when I worked for Sabre, in the American Airlines office in Hounslow, we’d go across the road to The Moon Under Water most weeks. It’s nice to see that it’s still there, though I haven’t been for over 30 years. It made me prompted me to google the AA office - which is also still there, but not occupied by American. It’s on the market, and described as recently renovated to a high standard. From the 2 shots of reception shown it looks exactly the same, though I can’t see if the waterfall is still there!

My main question is whether they'll live at public expense in a luxury reserved council house such as his father and several others do, or are they going to pay for their own accommodation at market rates like the rest of us have to.

Well, if Harry and Megan pop into my local 'Spoons I'll happily by them a pint and a glass of sweet sherry. But if he get's out his mobile and start's a hands free conversation with Charles or William, I'll say, "HARRY - NO!"

The reasons are trickling out now. Harry has gone from "I can never come back". a few months ago, to "I'M coming home" because Meghan has been offered a tv series part being filmed in a UK studio.

I have a fairly negative view of H & M - two oversized egos. Harry - not very bright with a hugely over-developed sense of entitlement, Meghan - disappointed that childhood fantasies of becoming a real princess had been dashed.
In the US their social status must have taken a knock when withdrawal from Royal duties meant they would no longer be known as "their Royal Highnesses". Severely bruised egos .........
Perhaps they are/were hoping that on return to the UK all would be forgiven and they would be treated with the deference with which they feel is their right. It looks like they will be largely disappointed!

I am suspicious of the undeclared reasons for their return. However I hope the press turn down the unfounded speculation until their intentions are clear.
I know H&M have a lot of responsibility for the way their popularity seems to have slumped with many sections of the populace. However hounding them at every turn is not justified.

The insurance was capped and the judge ordering payment on an indemnity basis means they will have to dig quite deeply into their pockets. I am sure Elton John will be happy to pay for all of them.
