It is simply amazing that Voyager 1 and Voyager 2 (which interestingly was launched first) are still functioning and transmitting 33 years after being launched.

The BBC say that Voyager 1 is now 10.8 billion miles from home, that should be from the sun, either way it must be due a service by now ;-)
