As someone probably quite rightly suggests - the costs to implement and run it will probably far out-way the revenue gained.

...Will Gypsies pay it?...
They don't like discrimination, so they will treat this tax demand with the same reverence as they treat all the others.
To be serious, looks like it applies to static owners - such as myself - only.
Much easier target.

Excellent news. Anything which reduces the numbers of those unsightly shoe-boxes littered around our coasts has my support.
The caravan transporters are a damn nuisance round our way; usually preceded by an "escort" vehicle which forces other drivers out of the way, so that their precious and fragile cargo doesn't get scratched on the overhanging branches.

Ooo, pardon me for bringing a little economic activity to a rural location.
This country would not be in quite such a mess as it is now if more people spent their holiday money here rather than abroad.

I'll carry on making my contribution to International Development thanks. I need my winter sunshine.
Got back yesterday from a two week Cuban 'fix'. There'll be an Indian Ocean 'fix' in March/April.

I wondered where you'd been Kevin. I was worried you'd died.
Cuba is on my list. See any Jaguars?

>Cuba is on my list.
Beautiful country and fantastic people caught in a game of political willy-waving. I can recommend a hotel called Paradisus Rio de Oro if you want some 'kick back and relax on the beach' time.
While the UK struggled with snow I've been reclined on a king size bed next to the pool with waiters asking me "would you like another drink" every time my glass was empty.
Get there before the Americans do though.
>See any Jaguars?
Not one.
Plenty of lovely old Chevys, Buicks and Fords though. New cars tend to be small Pugs or Suzukis.

Cod 'n' chips for one every weekend? £2.70.

£2.70? You've not been to a fish shop lately have you?
