Ferrari Black or Aramis.

Davidoff Silver Shadow.

SWMBO says she likes the smell of WD40 on me. I'm not sure that helps :-)

Nawt. After my former MiL bought me some French stuff which brought me out in a rash - nasty. :-)

Farenheit. Christian Dior

Ah yes, the smell of last weeks beans on toast - Dee-lightful.
 Aftershave. - Old Navy
Nothing wrong with a soup strainer, mine is more than 40 years old.

Get off your bum and have a sniff. Smells are a personal thing :o}

Everyone here will have their own opinion, probably completely different to yours.

Personally I think Givenchy Gentleman is nice.
 Aftershave. - Armel Coussine
I don't use scent either.

Why anyone wants to go about ponging like a fascist Latin politician is beyond me.
 Aftershave. - Zero
Scent? Pfffttt

I suppose you prefer you old man aroma of rotting flesh and pee stains.

Bout 30 years ago, before I stopped shaving, I used to use Acqua Di Selva, don't think its an after shave,
but I likes the pong.

>> rotting flesh and pee stains.

What a delightful selection of mature males you must have known Zeddo. I am quite green with envy.

No, when I haven't had a bath and am a bit sweaty I smell of Heinz vegetable soup. Can't understand why because I never eat it. It's a mystery.

When I worked at a printers there was a guy who smelt of tomato soup when sweaty. The same guy who was complaining about a strange niff in the place all day then realised at the end of the day that the milk he'd drunk in the morning had gone rancid in his moustache. Nice.

Shake 'n vac or Toilet Duck....don't mind which.

I bet that Pat's all excired now !

Seriously, I've got some English Fern by Penhaligans and a selection of odds and ends.
Rarely use it though...just a spray deodorant does usually.
I'm kissable enough without it...anyone want to try ?

Paco Rabanne. So much nicer than the modern stuff.
 Aftershave. - Runfer D'Hills
Thierry Mugler "Amen". But be careful...It works !
 Aftershave. - scousehonda
I like Paco Rabanne. Also Aramis, but my favourite is Eau Sauvage (very subtle).
 Aftershave. - Perky Penguin
I have used YSL Pour Homme for about 30 years and I get it over 50% off from an on line firm called Extra Scents (Google for them). They stock hundreds of items for men and women and I have used them for years with total reliability.
 Aftershave. - Marc
Good taste PP, I used to have that one in the Concentree (black bottle) version about 20 years ago.

For me it's original Paco Rabanne. Tried various others over the years but have always come back to this one and have used it solely for years now.

Also worthy of mention IMO are CD Eau Sauvage, Armani pour homme and Chanel pour monsieur.

This is a good retailer with free shipping from the US :

Eau Sauvage

A name that amuses me - It means wild water but sauvage can also mean unsociable or a loner - probably not the effect the purchaser is seeking
 Aftershave. - Skip
Used CK Eternity for years, but changed to Diesel Only The Brave this time.

I'm another non-user.

In my younger days, I used Old Spice - probably because it was the only one that I'd ever heard of.
 Aftershave. - henry k

Me too.
All perfumed products etc are banned in my household due to SWMBO reacting to such things.
When offspring were at home, another service from dad was to wait while pong was applied ( whilst they were standing a few paces from the front door on the drive) and then me returning with the said bottle.
>>
>>In my younger days, I used Old Spice.
Me too. IIRC the other 'Enry used to promote it ?

I probably tried other as I worked in a chemist shop. That was when in my teens and needed to impresss......

 Aftershave. - scousehonda
"Me too. IIRC the other 'Enry used to promote it ?"

If you're referring to 'Enery Cooper he used to promote 'Brut'.

"Splash it on, all over."

When Old Spice came out it was just about the only after shave available. Very heavy and early users (myself included) were often labelled as poofters, whatever they are.

Bigtee. thanks for the correction.

I do not think their advert atracts me :-((

I also have Eau Sauvage but I find it too acidy (?) compared to Paco.

And another non-user... for the same reason that I can't wet shave either!

Though if I suddenly started wearing some SWMBO may become suspicious!

You can't beat Citroen LHM - seems to be going out of fashion but is very distinctive and keeps the skin very smooth.
 Aftershave. - MD
Left hand motoring? Shouldn't you change at some point to avoid exertion?.........:))

@philW:- So does raw lanolin!

Do you perfume users have blue LED's on your cars, or just have your front fog lights on?
Last edited by: Old Navy on Thu 16 Dec 10 at 23:21

At the moment, fogs.

BUt I have the excuse of a blown headlight bulb.
 Aftershave. - PhilW
As an LHM user, my face glows a strange shade of green - no need for blue lights

Buncha bleedin ponces if you ask me.

Having owned a "Senator" with full leather package, I could only wear "Joop" couldn`t I? - class always comes to the fore! ;-)

Now me not got wheels like, I`m trying "Lynx" cos I never know when! ;-(

Don't think I've ever bought any myself. It's usually received as a Christmas stocking filler, and applied that day, and the next.

I have quite a stash.

Did you see the German version(s) of the Holzfäller song? Had me in stitches. Ah well, it's the incongruity I suppose.

Whatever happened to REAL men?

They drunk the aftershave

Initially, Nivea Sensitive Post Shave Balm to sooth the irritation of wet shaving. It doesn't have an aroma worth talking about so later, if I want to smell nicer, I rinse my face and use either Davidoff Cool Water, Kouros, or Paco Rabanne Pour Homme.
 Aftershave. - Alanovich
I have not worn scent since I was a try hard teenager in the 1980s. I tried hard, but mostly failed.

I now wear a large ginger beard and don't give a stuff what anyone thinks. The missus likes it - probably because she thinks it puts other women off, I imagine!
 Aftershave. - Pat
She's wrong:)

Z, when you're as handsome as I am, it's kind of a civic duty to try to quell the levels of female excitment somehow.
 Aftershave. - helicopter
Currently wearing the beard but when I do use aftershave it is Millionaire by Paco Rabanne.

I used to just use a drop of toilet water behind the ears ......but I stopped that

.....cos the seat kept falling on the back of my neck......

"Whatever happened to REAL men? :)"

Y'know, Pat, that's something I've often wondered about myself. That half of the UK population with Y chromosomes now seems to consist mostly of overgrown adolescents and metrosexual mincers.

I work with Santa Claus, there's no way i'll ever grow a beard.

Anyone participate in "Movember" ? - You know the grow a tache for November thing? I lasted about 3 days then got *told* i wasn't doing it any longer :-)

Favourites off the aftershave shelf -

Lacoste Red - for going out, it's about 3 years old now but i love this stuff
Davidoff Echo - again one for going out, quite sweet again

Lacoste Gray - (i swear i don't own anything else with a lacoste label...) suitable for work, very respectable

Bunch of others i randomly flick between too, but i'd avoid Armani "City Glam" and the other armani that comes in the same bottle but is a dull grey colour.
 Aftershave. - Ted
I must try Alanovich's beard method for hiding good looks.
I'm really getting tired of opening my bedroom curtains in the morning to find 3 or 4 young ladies gazing up at me. The scribbled notes through the letterbox begging me to father their children are becoming tedious !

Brut ! that should help drive them away as well !

Ralph Lauren Romance Silver Men chosen by the knowledgeable Mrs H.

Was at Xmas lunch yesterday and pulled a cracker with a female colleague; we both grabbed our smoking ends of the cracker "bang" and inhaled deeply. Cordite; now someone's going to make their fortune with a scent that smells of pulled Christmas cracker.
