The display of this forum on my pc has altered today - instead of having stuff on the left and latest forum posts on the right, on either side of the forum, I now have them below each other under the forum.
I haven't changed any settings. The forum has always left vast amounts of white either side of the forum and still does (would be much better if it could use more of the screen and a larger font!). I have a 23" monitor and resolution of 1680x1050. I use IE7.
Can anyone help please?

I assume this is unrelated to the changes in the Google home page, which I have (temporarily) overcome by changing the language to Pirate...

Something has caused the columns to wrap. If the left column ends up too wide, the next column doesn't fit and then wraps underneath. It doesn't do it for me on any of the Mac browsers.
Have you tried refreshing the page because style sheet changes may have got cached.

Mine is doing it too.
I assumed it was due to the dodgy weekend builders sorting the drive out. ;-)
Quite happy to live with it for a while.

Ah - that would be the micro soft ground they are trying to build on. A hardcore browser is preferable.
Don't worry. Nothing the old wacker plate can't fix.

I found that post helpful even if I do not necessarily agree with all of it. ;-)

Its not being built by someone with an irish accent, and a transit with no road tax and a well used tow hitch is it?

The wacker plate and a bit of hardcore should have sorted out that Micro Soft ground now.

I mean really, did anyone think that we would want a nav to look THAT bad?

I had something similar on the Eee PC with the old place.

Hardly surprising with a seven-inch screen.

It returned to normal after a few days/restarts.

Looks like the builders have tidied up and gone off down the pub.
But not before putting the fences back where they found them.
Just like the "trusted independents" we know and love. ;-)

Yeah - unfortunately I committed the sin of not checking on IE on PC and only looked at the main browsers on a Mac.

yes well, IE on Windows is only used by 60% of people, its easy to overlook.

Its the same train of thought that gordon brown has right now. He still thinks he has power.

...3. Chrome 10.64%...

Google won't like being in third place, they'll be calling for the stats to be gathered using system of proportional representation.

Don't tell everyone or they'll all want it. That's what was behind the hoardings until earlier. Should be all pained by now !

Well, it's back to normal now thanks.
More than can be said for Google...
