Firefox start-up on a blank page - bathtub tom
I'm sure I used to be able to do this through tools/options/home page as for explorer, but now I can't.

I'm an impatient so and so and never know where I want to go at start-up.

Go to Tools>Options in the menus, in the general tab type about:blank in the homepage box then click Okay and you are done.

Edit: Or even easier in the same place there is a drop down list "When firefox starts:" with options including "show my homepage" and "show a blank page"

Thanks TN. I thought it was there somewhere.

On a related topic - with Firefox my home page is MSN; sometimes on start-up a pop-up shows noting that it's sending encrypted data (presumably my log-in password to Hotmail) with an option to "continue" or cancel; on other occasions this doesn't show. One would assume it would be all or nothing. Any way to get rid of it, please?
