My Partner upgraded her 02 phone, and part of the tarrif "deal" was x amount of WIFI
However our WIFI is run through Virgin, and thats what we connected the phone too, at home.
So my question is, where does this "02 Wifi" come from?

It will be to use wifi at hotspots around the country - nothing to do with your home connection. I don't know who O2 use for their wifi hotspots but you can figure that out as I can using Google or the O2 site. It's not going to be BT though is it ;-) So maybe the Cloud?

Cheers, I dont think we will use the "hotspots" it however it got me thinking when we left the store.
Got me thinking, that if it related to my Home Wifi A) thats a rip off B) How dare they restrict it, C) How can they considering its provided via Virgin

I am with O2 - WiFi access is free and unlimited through BTfon...just had an e-mail pushing it. There is a data allowance of 500mb.
