I don't have a broaband phone but my Internet service was blocked yesterday. On the other hand, the email service was not interrupted. Aren't they both on broadband?

The Internet problem was cured today by re-starting my Home Hub.

My BT broadband dropped out yesterday around 11.30. I couldn't get through to anyone to report it and it was working again by 14.00. I heard they had a big problem.

Curiously, since the outage, my speed's gone back up to the 4 Meg mark.

10% of all BT users fell over yesterday lunchtime because of a power failure at the Birmingham backbone hub,

When the serve was brought back your hub needed to be rebooted.

Would that also affect those of us who buy the 'rebranded' wholesale product - the only offer round here?
