you align the pringles tube with the aerial of the laptop, its normally in the screen side frame.

I'd have thought a Pringles tube was too small a diameter for efficient transmission at 2.4GHz, which that article does sort of confirm, but hey, RF is unpredictable stuff at close quarters.
