 Tabless Browser - Chris S
Does anybody know of a tabless-browser that is still available please?

I normally use IE but there is no way to get rid of the favorites star (as opposed to bar) and it takes up a significant proportion of the screen on a web book.

Chris,

Have you tried using Firefox and then press F11 to fill the screen?

That gives you about as much room as it's possible to get on a netbook.

...F11...

Should work with Explorer as well.

That seems to have given me the few more lines that I need - thanks.

You've probably worked this out, but if you push the cursor to the top of the screen, you will get the top two tab lines back again - handy for a quick Google search.

Toggle F11 to return to normal.

You can also gain some space by clicking on "View" - "Toolbars" and unticking things in the drop down menu. You can also do the same by right clicking on the toolbars with your mouse and do your unticking.

Also ensure that you have configured IE or FF to display "Small Icons".

But using F11 to toggle between full screen and normal screen is still the quickest method to maximise screen estate space.
