How slashable is a tyre, really? I kept the Volvo's original set of Pirellis as garden playthings for the Beestlings, which meant drilling holes in the sidewalls to let the rainwater out. That was a listening-device-planter of a job that I eventually did with a 15mm electrician's bit. Those rubber things are tough.
Which makes me think you'd have to be an unusually strong or committed vandal to slash a whole line of cars' tyres, as we occasionally hear about.
