A car is written off if it is impractical, unsafe or uneconomic to repair; that's usually something around 50% of its market value. It can be less.
So, taking rtj's note about replacement costs, unless you can get the insurance-funded repairs down to about £1800, it'll be written off. And it doesn't sound like there's much chance of that, so unless you're prepared to get lesser repairs done yourself, after you've negotiated a cash settlement, on a car that will be worth sod all in the future because it'll be a CAT C write-off, then I'd prepare for a shopping trip if I were you.
