I'll check but I thought his garage business had come a cropper. It was certainly more complex than simply wound up.
The Golf program was that one in Scandinavia? It was wrist-slashingly bad.
It seems Edd hasn't been a particular loss to Wheeler Dealers or Velocity. Not because there's anything particularly awful about him, there isn't, but because he was easily replaced and doesn't standalone.
Edd has 390,000 YouTube subscribers. Markiplier has 23.4milion. I think Edd has a way to go yet.
On another subject, and yes I am very bored, I measured the period of time from when the mechanic (Edd or Ant) is given the car, until they do the budget conclusion and excluded the little Mike bit in the middle; (I do have a video editor, I'm not sat here dicking around with a media player.
Season 5 (Edd) Average over a random 4 episodes; 25' 2"
Season 16 (Ant) Average over a random 4 episodes; 27' 1"
So Edd's previously incessant banging on about how Velocity were planning to reduce the technical content makes no sense and certainly hasn't occurred.
[sigh, I need to get out more].
