In the second video, why would she be sitting behind the driver if she got in from the other side? She'd also likely be in the front anyway.
The answer to the problem that would make more sense if you're worried about safety is to enable the child proof lock on the driver's side. That way someone can get in that side but not out without help.
Stupid idea for a car if you ask me having doors like that - just like the Mini Clubman is stupid.
