No, it's not April Fools day. The theory behind it is to make rear passengers get out the kerb side of the car - that is of course if the driver has parked up on the LH side of the road.

The 1st clip is the UK advert, but it fell foul of the ASA and they had to remove it.
Note that for the UK they had to swap some of the filmed sections, watch the driver as he keeps swapping from front left hand to right hand seats!
