I took a neighbour, in my old Fiat 750, to a Sytner dealer to pick up his car. He wanted me to drop him outside, but I insisted on taking him to the door.

'You can't leave that there' said some lackey, after which, it took me an age to start the car (can't think why!).

Google 'Frank Sytner' to see why this old, ex motor sport marshal would feel like that.

Odd how even witihn VAG group the contents of a service pack vary.

All three of my Skodas included it. They also let me have stuff the previous owner of the Roomster had paid for but not used.

My A4 is three years old, so was due a Mot and annual service. Booked into a nearby Sytner Audi place. It has a service pack (well worth it) and I was told I’d have to pay the MoT fee. Fair enough. Collected the car passed its MoT and they rolled the MoT fee into the free service, which they didn’t have to according to the T&Cs. Good service especially given they were not the su-plying dealer.
