Cousin passed away in the USA a few days ago.

Thought of going for funeral, but only given the date and time last Saturday.

Trying to book flights , hotel and transfers at short notice meant being at Heathrow for 6.00am Monday morning to fly and then get from Boston to a small town miles away, so thet we would have a day to recover. Flights hotels, car hire etc etc meant an awful lot of money for 5 days
Alternative was to fly onwards and have a longer break as swmbo is on leave soon and would only miss 2 days off work (allowable with a swap) to see the USAF air force museum or up to Toronto where SWMBO has a brother and his family, who are very kind but a bit overbearing, even though extremely generous.
In the end after much reflection will make a suitable donation and recharge our batteries in Rimini for a few days and not upset the work rota for her colleagues.

Any tips for Rimini anyone.
