I just looked at a journey from Oakham to Llanbedr (West coast Wales) and came up with the following fares, with a senior rail card - journey involves a change at Birmingham whatever ticket(s) you buy Oakham To Llanbedr £41.20 Oakham to Birmingham £4.30 Birmingham to Llanbedr £8.60. Almost a £30 saving and I wouldn't bank on your booking office drawing your attention to the anomaly! I wonder who gets the £30?
