>> I have just watched another episode; an Alfa 155.
I've been unable to watch earlier episodes of Flipping Bangers (series 1). Only watched the 3 episodes of the current series 2 so far. Getting used to the presenters now, although the one who has the 'posh' voice irritates me at times.
As per Wheeler Dealers, inconsistences are creeping in. Take the latest episode of the MG Maestro for instance, they get a professional spray job done on the bonnet, but no mention of whether they removed the rust from the panel below the radiator grill and resprayed afterwards.
They also fitted a new clutch, but used the old thrust bearing. It's common practice to replace the bearing, and lets face it, not very expensive. So much for their claim of giving the buyer "peace of mind".
Still, on the whole I am enjoying Flipping Bangers, and it reminds me of early episodes of Wheeler Dealers where the cars bought were bangers on their last legs.
