The very fanciable statuesque blonde next door drives a Volvo SUV (with personalised number-plate - but that's another story).
I looked at it one day in bright sunlight after it had been washed and realised that it wasn't black but a very dark, slightly metallic navy.
I don't think there's anything wrong with my colour vision and my reaction was - why? Why go to the trouble of creating a colour that (probably) most people won't recognise, when it would be simpler and cheaper just to paint the damn car black?
