Hassle indeed. insurance4carhire with whom I have the CDW policy state on their website that they aim to settle claims within 12/15 working days. I submitted the claim online 11/12/20. Sent them an email a few days ago to query the delay, and their reply was that I need to phone them. 90 minutes Thursday I got passed from pillar to post until the line eventually went dead. Friday, after 40 mins I finally got through to someone in the Claims Dept. Gave all relevant details for the 4th time in 2 days..policy number, claim reference, name, address etc. Person I spoke to said she would forward my claim to an assessor and they’d be in touch by email. Good job I asked her to confirm the email address as she quoted an unknown Spanish one !
I did receive an email later in the day. Can I submit the claim again....gggrrrrrr.
