 Vauxhall Corsa C - introducing myself - HF
Hello, Im HF and i am hoping this post will work. I think one or two of you know me from before, which is why i got the invite (a lovely surprise by the way).

I am hopeless with cars and can offer absolutely nothing to valid conversation here - but I am happy to be here.

Those invites went out 15 months ago.

Perhaps you should check your inbox a little more often. :)

>>> still motoring.?

Yes indeedy. I just renewed my licence over the net DVLA have left my motor cycle off the list. No point in screaming as I do not fancy riding on two wheels in the near future. Eighty two in December. only clocking about 5K per year nowadays. I bought QX Man's QX in June 2007 with 50K on the odometer. Now 72800 so just under 5K a year. Something of a petrol gobbler. If I really try I can get 30mpg by using my old Mobil economy run techniques. Trouble is I cannot resist dabbing the sport mode at the lights when the BarryBoys pull alongside. Have Panama Hat on back shelf just for the image. I miss the Metro for its load capacity when I have to go to the recycling depot but for comfort its no contest.

Hope you can get mobile in the near future.

Happy Motoring Phil I

Hey PU - now going by your initials I see?

This is really cool!

Strange thing is that I still have 2 vehicles that I had before.

The two Nissans (Almera and Primastar) are still with me. The old 200TDi Discovery has gone to donate various mechanical bits to a 90.

I have with me a Discovery 2 TD5 now plus a Ford Ka that I bought to get my two daughters through their test - one has passed, the other hasn't, but that will have to go soon.

I still have my Ifor Williams trailer too

a Discovery 2 TD5 now

Good man Hugo... LRs are rather poorly represented here these days.
