Saw one of these in the metal today, dropped something off for a neighbour and turned round in the cul de sac. Bright yellow.

My Mother had the original, or possibly mark 2, variant from summer 1978 in a similar shade.

They definitely got the retro look like.

Spent two weeks launching the 5 to the dealer network early in 2025 and absolutely adore the car.
It’s top of my list if I ever do buy a new car - a day in a 5 courtesy car last week reminded me how much I like them.

Auto Express have an image of the new Fiesta on the front cover this week. A lot more than a change of badge. Will use the same platform as the R5 with amendments.

My wife has one, a yellow ‘Iconic 5’ trim, with the urban battery. It replaced a 2022 Mini Electric. She loves it and I’ll have to admit, it does look good. Lovely to drive, too.

They are trully iconic looking, first car I have thought "wow" for a large number of years.


Very Very colour dependent tho. All white, black or midnight blue is "meaah". Green or yellow makes it really pop.
