I have been doing lots of research lately of another BMW or a Chinese PHEV / EV but have to confess that even I hadn't heard of this brand!

I remember reading (in Autocar) a pretty daming road rest, which might explain why they haven't sold well? I may (or may not) have seen one of these - I'm afraid that even to a car enthusiast, these Chinese SUVs all blur into one!

I have been doing lots of research on them and one minute I feel they are too risky and they are cheap for a reason and then the other I feel they are the new "Apple" and BMW and the like are the Nokias and Motorolas burying their heads in the sand thinking their name will keep their market share.

I saw one last year when I took the Korando in for it's last dealer service in Wymondham.
The reviews at the time were poor.

The chinese EV carmarket will I think end up with three makers.

Cherry, BYD and SAIC (MG). They seem to understand the European and UK market better.

Geely are there and think they own Volvo and Lotus, or certainly have a tie up with them in some way.
They have a 16 speaker stereo including speakers mounted in roof and headrests.......

Ah yes, forgot them, they would be very wise to stick to the Volvo brand name and style.

Geely also own SMART. All SMARTS are now made in China, on Geely/Volvo/Polestar EV platforms. The original diddy SMARTS are consigned to history. And I think Geely have taken a minor stake in Mercedes-Benz?

Leapmotor's tie up with Stellantis will probably ensure their survival too.
