I wasn’t aware there was an E class cabrio. Spending lots of time in Espana I see lots of C class cabrios. Mostly white with red roof which I think looks A1.
That combo PeterS looks ok to me. I had a purple Marina TC Coupe with red vinyl back in the day so who am I to criticise.
I like convertibles. My first was a Spitfire, them an Ivory Morgan 4/4 ( owned for 72 hours as a buy to sell deal). A Frogeye Sprite, a Mk 1 Elise then 20 years later my ‘04 330. My experience is that owning a convertible isn’t about performance. It’s about driving through nice scenery, roof down, hearing bird song, lambs bleating etc. You don’t need a Cobra V8. Although it’s very agreeable on occasion, a small petrol lump in a C class cabrio would be most acceptable 95% of the time.
