Like many here, I spent a lot of years navigating to places without a sat nav. Memorising or remembering routes and occasionally re-consulting maps and A-Zs.
Sat navs are a great invention, and of course I use mine a lot, but I still quite enjoy trying to manage without it, if I think I can. Using good old fashioned road signs, the position of the sun versus the time of day to get a bearing etc. Not sure why it pleases me, or why I bother, but it does, and I do.
