The biggest problem was the motor trade who did not know what a torque wrench was for.
Grease gorilla and aluminium components = disaster. Hence poor public perception.
I ran a very highly (almost undriveable!) tuned, but well sorted suspension model (it had been been used for hill climb events by previous owner). Great fun, great performance.
The only car I have owned where I could change the clutch more quickly than the number 4 spark plug. Still nicer (and easier) to work on than a mini.
