I thought the Imp was a tremendous little vehicle.
We used to get a lot of them overheating on warm days, but like the Stag, that was more down to bad maintenance than bad design.
In the case of the Imp, there was some trunking around the radiator fan, which of course was with the rest of the oily bits in the boot.
The trunking might split and Mr Home Bodger would leave it off.
The car would run fine, until holiday time when Mr H B would take it, fully laden, onto the motorway.
