Hmmm,
Chased today and apparently alignment check disclosed suspension damage. Now waiting for updated repair authorisation from LV. Collected from me last Monday but revised numbers not sent to LV until Thursday.
Complaint that they'd not kept me informed was met with a rather defensive 'we told you we needed to check suspension'. Suggestion I could have been using it (and saving Mrs B from being taxi for me) was met with inference that I'd be a fool to drive a car with suspension fault.
Picking up a hire car, at my expense of course, tomorrow.
