Good reason for a a large fine from governments. No reason for “compensating” individuals.

If I had explicitly ordered leather seats and got plastic I would indeed have reason to complain.

At the time of purchase I know more cared about the emissions values than what brand of tyres they fitted. If I didn’t care I shouldn’t be compensated.
