It’s worth remembering that at the moment none of the vaccines are claiming that they reduce the likelihood of transmission, only the effects of infection. So while it's entirely possible that being vaccinated will reduce the risk of you infecting others, there is also no evidence that this is the case since that has not been part of the testing programme so far. Therefore assuming the vaccines are effective as stated - and safe - you would take them to reduce the risk to yourself, and by extension reduce the demand you might place on the health service by getting ill.
