I expect them to do their part or deal with the consequences of not doing so. I do not believe that we should keep excusing the behaviour of lazy or ignorant idiots because it makes us feel like more woke people or as a way of signalling our own virtue. I detest that attitude in people, the desperate and fervent need to repeatedly signal how virtuous they are by excusing the behaviour of t***s.
Do your f. bit or suffer the consequences of not doing so. i.e. you don't get some advantage that someone else does. eg. air travel, theatres and hospital visiting.
